Bare essential wire diagram

Hey guys, I'm currently working on a 1974 cb750k4. I was looking into buying a new wire harness but decided instead I may just keep the old one, cut it open and remove the unneeded wire to keep a clean look. I was wondering if any one knows of a wire diagram that would shore what is needed to have the bike run along with, horn, blinkers, tail light, headlight and gauges light. Also looking to install modern inline fuses and would appreciate advice on that.

i thought i could fix my stock harness. i went ahead and invested in new wire, fuse bos, and some other misc like heat shrink. after you splice up the factory harness you'll understand. id almost kepp running a factory harness if you plan on running all your stock parts. i dont have a horn, turn signals, tach at the moment. much simpler

Dime city sells an aftermarket 750 wiring harness.

If you can get your hands on a factory manual most of them have the wiring diagrams in the back with the appropriate colors/wire numbers. That would probably be your best bet if you go a head an thin out the harness on your own.
