If that's the original motor in that bike you could flip it for $10K in Australia right now.

Jealous much? Yes I am....

So put the Z1R top end on the original bottom end and restore the Z1.

Don't cut it up

Please.... :'(

Trying to get pics of Z1R down loaded. The Z1R has a couple of issues one the piece that hold light ,gages and fairing is broke will have to locate one and plastic around gages is broke. Lower fairing mounting bolts are broke out of fairing but they are there. I bought a new 80 Z1R with enlistment bonus from the Marine Corps. Sure miss it.

please dont touch that bike.

too nice. if you want another cafe, sell that mofo for a nice amount and then by a cb750. or a trashed up z1r. just please dont devirginize that beautiful girl.

The 900 will ether be restored or sold to the right person it will not be cafed I got a 84 BMW R80 that I M cafein now. The Z1R not sure what I will do there yet

Here is the 78 Z1R it has been painted black. The tank is flawles, no dents nothing.
The bike is complete less turn signals. Have orginal motor.

umm so that 1973 kz900 (not sure where you're from) is called the Z1 here in the states and it's worth a lot of money. I saw a used oem exhaust system sell for over $2000 on ebay. what you have is PURE GOLD. and don't dare go near it with a sawzall or the motorcycle gods will smite you. restore it, maintain it, love it. sell it to cover your kid's college tuition or buy a house on a lake. either way, you've made a hell of an investment!
