bars wont unlock

i locked my bars and now i cant unlock them. any suggestions?

Ride slowly in circles :

Have you pushed the key down in the lock? Have you "giggled" the key in the lock? Have you made sure the bars are fully to the left/right and not catching on the lock pin? Have you sprayed a bit of WD40 in the lock?

If all of that doesn't work, take the ignition barrel off the top clamp

You used the steering stem lock?

If it's jammed, I guess it's either a locksmith or a drill/grinder. I'd go with the powertools.

i tried giggling both the key and the bars. going out now to see if i have any wd40

went and bought some wd40 and after letting it soak in a little, they freed up. but on my way to work last night, i noticed that my blinkers and brake light stopped working. im thinking that when the wire tuck was done, it wasnt done exactly right :\
