Probably a long shot but it is fairly rare so who knows. 1988 FZR750RU. Only 200 of these things made. This one is #169. Missing a lot of oem parts, pretty much impossible to find them however fzr1000 stuff from '87-'88 interchanges. Factory race bike Yamaha had to build 200 to be eligible for AMA racing back in the day. Slap some body panels on and it'd make a hell of a vintage racer or put the engine in an old Yamaha and ride the crap out of it. I've read the rods are titanium stock and a bunch of other stuff. Ran about 5 years ago, always been garage kept. Previous owner installed battery backwards all I know. $1000 or best offer. Would also do trading on some 16v Suzuki GS750 parts.

I don't think those are the forks that came on it, but I don't know what they are. They look fairly old school USD, but the 750RU came with standard forks. They may have been added as a racing component, or a transplant......gonna have to do some research. hmmmmm

Sevierville, Tennessee. Forks are backwards in the tree put it just to move it around. They're from a zx7 early '90s I believe. Front end isn't stock. Underslung rear caliper is gone, replaced with fzr1000 components. Tank is off '94 fzr doesn't fit right. Pretty much everything from '87-'88 fzr1000 interchanges minus engine components.

Are there any markings on those forks? They look like they may be Ohlins forks from the time.

Engine, swing arm, rear tire, the TCI unit, carbs, frame and lights. I'll check the forks when I get home. I'm willing to negotiate here just trying to finish my Suzuki project.
