my bike is better at a third of the price. but someone with money might like that.

True. There is a lot of labor that goes into making a bike like that. Some people have more
money than time... or simply don't want to build it themselves.

A nice bike nonetheless!

It's got a lot of issues for a bike that has a 10k asking price:

1: UNI filters, seriously, they're cheap ass Chinese foam
2: Rust on the left side chain tensioner, and I'm sure there's some on the right as well
3: BONE STOCK, there's nothing about this that says to me "sport bike", especially the fact that it's A FREAKIN' CB350... 100mph, tops...
4: Shitty tires: I know some people like the "nostalgic" look of vintage rubber, but seriously, it's 2012 and we have better tires now-a-days.
5: The bump stop is crooked. Look at it closely, shifted to the left.
6: No instrument cluster, which means you'd have to source/fabricate your own, on a "road-ready" bike, even before you can ride it.
7: Ugly stick on Auto-Zone stickers on tank. W.T.F...
8: Tank itself. Lots of little flaws in the paint job, as well as the fit and finish of the metal.
9: No headlight, even though it has turn signals... Umm, still doesn't make it road-legal.
10: Emgo reverse cone mufflers. They're cheap as shit on Ebay, 80$ and you can have them shipped anywhere.

From 100ft away, it looks nice, not 10k nice, but nice. But their pictures tell too much about how shoddy this bike was put together to be asking 10k for it. However, knowing Sacramento, SOMEONE there with plenty of money and no brains will probably fork over the cash, go out and wreck because they don't understand how to use drum brakes, and end up in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives. Oh well, to each his own I guess.

I sold this for $3800. AND FELT BAD. It's still a cb175 for crying out lout. I had my reserve set at $2000, some crazy mofo drove it up! I would NEVER ask that for a bike that did 90 DOWN HILL...

I might add, it costs $1800 to build..

Nice bike, but I think someone posted that bike up here a few month ago and it got the same response. Its not a rare bike they pop up here all the time. People asking 10k for this, is why people ask 3k for a peice of shit barn find on craigslist. Thanks for posting, might give some members Inspiration for thier build.

Hmm, the pile of cb350 parts I'm selling doesn't have an instrument cluster either...guess I better raise the price to $10,000! :D

Yeah, I didn't post this for a potential buy... 10k is bananas... I just thought it was a nice build.

If you see the close up pictures of it, it's real nasty (not in a nice way)
It's been spray bombed and still has original tyres, I saw it a few months ago
Wheel rims are painted silver without even masking tyres
It's a $200.00 bike at best

Sadly someone with little knowledge will make what they think is a fair offer of 6-7k and think they got a deal.

God knows all things considered I probably over paid 10-15% for my bike. I've leaned a few things and the next one will hopefully be a better deal.

I did the same thing with the first bike I bought. I ended up selling it for +-$100 what I had into it including parts, because it needed a /lot/ of work. I consider it motorcycles 101 tuition, as now I know better for next time...

Hell, I've got 8 bikes between years 71 and 75, I should sell them all and retire based the price logic there. Either the company listing it is bike stupid or they think their customers are.

I'm gonna go with "they think their customers are" cause you know some wannabe is going to buy that bike. They will ride it around a bit, and be lucky they get 10% of their investment back when they go to sell, and move on to the "next big thing"...

The thing that looked really odd to me was the close up of the filler neck on the tank. The picture with out the cap on it. Something just doesn't look right there.

This thing is just complete shit... For 10 grand, you could have 12:1 motor, high shouldered Rims, elec ignition, yada, yada, yada. And some left over!
