Hi everyone,
I'm brand new to this awesome forum. As my initial contribution I would like to spread the word about vapor blasting in case you're not aware of this process. It's a kind of bead blasting that incorporates water and it is not nearly as harsh as bead blasting or sand blasting and it leaves aluminum looking like it just came out of the mold. Apparently it's big in Europe and the U.K. but hasn't caught on here--yet.
I'm sorry I don't have any pics at this point but if you Google "vapor blasting" you'll see what a fantastic job it can do to restore your non-ferrous parts.
There are a few places in the U.S. that do vapor blasting and now Canada has its very own vaporblastcanada.com. Check it out!
How can my friend Kevin, at Vapor Blast Canada become a friend of DTT so he can get some exposure?
