Benjie seat attachment?

Hello, first post, new build.

Early stages of a 1973 CB500 cafe and I'm mocking seat/tank placement before welding. I have a Benjie seat with bracket that provides attachment for the front part of seat. I'm looking for suggestions on how to attach rear portion of seat securely.

Thanks Patrick

I'd do up a 1/8" thick plate setup to go up and meet that cross brace under the seat bump with the 2 bolts in it - looks like the place to support the seat and bolt it down. Looks like room in there for a small battery too.

nice looking combo !!
yeah an up over then down again flatbar would do it ,similar to what the stock frame had
be sure and pull the springs off the shocks and check clearance at full bottom, before you weld anything, and clearance figured for any junk you put up inside there,as well
the wheel is going to come up higher than your existing fame side rails at full bump
