So I ordered a rectifier from Oregon, and the Interceptor seat from Roc City and I'm trying to figure out the best battery to hide under the seat. Any thoughts would be a great help.

what bike, electric or kick only, need more info...

I bought this 12V 5AH battery for my 73 CB350F: http://www.amazon.com/UB1250-Universal-Sealed-Battery-Volts/dp/B001C1T5P2

I haven't tried it yet as my bike is torn apart, but its nice and small and should do the job. Here is a photo of it next to my iphone:

A sealed unit like the one above should work... Need to know what electrics youre running, and whatnot. Do some looking around on the site. There are tons of battery discussions.

Those batteries are not intended for a "rapid" charge. They work but only for a few months , then they start to fade. Usually a good indicator is the spade connectors.

Thats also true. If you ride every day, youll definitly destroy those batterys in a couple months at best. Theyre made as backups for emergency lighting, power scooters, etc... At about $15 a pop, its up to you to decide if thats ok.
