Best/strongest Plastic adhesive?

edelweiss

Coast to Coast
Have a cracked front dirt bike fender (yellow plastic). Any strong plastic adhesives that don't expand and are clear? I know there's Gorilla glue quick set, BUT they never mention plastic on any of their product labels. Sketchy.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Is this the stuff you are looking for??

That seems like JB weld. The fender I have is solid yellow all the way through. Just wondering if this stuff dries white? Would look crappy with a white "vein" in the plastic...

Basically, I'm going to glue it and clamp it overnight. Thanks.

Very cool. I was reading about plastics gluing and it's definitely difficult because of the "low energy" surface of the plastic. I'm going to check out this stuff. Thanks!

Do you know what type of plastic it is? if its HDPE you'll probably want to weld it, you can do it with a soldering iron, weld it from the back so the front stays nice and clean ;)

Cheers

Have you thought about "welding" it from the back side with a soldering iron?

I just realized I basically quoted you 18Bravo, great idea!
