best way to install fiberglass seat for longevity?

You're all idiots.
So I've finally gotten my seat here and the dimensions are absolutely perfect for the 175. About a 1/4" overhang on the sides following the frame as it widens. Now, What is the best way to install and make sure it will last and stand up to stress? I was thinking of welding in 3 braces with a slight rise across the frame rails and bolting this to the seat with rubber washers sandwiching the fiberglass, using smooth allen bolts because the upholstered seat pan has no clearance to the seat itself.

I had considered bolting the whole unit to my factory steel seat pan so I could still have easy access to under the seat, but I believe this would put the whole thing too high

Opinions? you guys have done this a bunch, and this is my first, so stealing your knowledge is better than trial and error

If the seat is well made, there should be no problem with it just sitting on the frame rails, especially on such a narrow frame like the 175. That's the way I did the seat on my KZ. I had some inner tube glued to the bottom just to protect the frame and then the seat it bolted to the frame (using the four stock bolts for the battery box). Its been like that for over three years with lots of bumpy hard miles under its belt, no issues at all.

Oops, just read that you need to clear the battery. Anyway of lowering it or moving it? How much of a rise?

1" rise.
that will also help keep the line on the bottom of the tank matching up with the seat.

I used rubber washers on both sides of bolts that hold my seat on. Found em at the hardware store in plumbing.
