Big Bore Kit for Honda CB500/550

New price = $300 shipped. As the title says, i have a big bore kit for a Honda CB500/550, it's a 605cc kit.
Here's what is in the kit:
4 pistons and pins
8 clips
new rings for pistons
4 sleeves
new head gasket

Sorry, I ordered new rings and had the cylinders honed. I would love to get this but the Baby needs a new car seat. If only I could keep her from growing. However, How much work does this kit involve? Is it expensive? and is there much of a power gain? Thanks.

As far as work is involved, you'd have to swap the pistons and sleeves, have the sleeves machined to spec and honed, and then reassemble everything. Besides the kit the only thing you'd have to pay for is the machining and honing, which is why i'm selling, i couldn't find anybody that could do it at a reasonable price, only place i found that could do it charged $60 a hole. I have no idea about power gain, but i'm assuming not a whole lot, at least not for a 550.

$60 a hole for the entire job? That sounds very cheap actually, if it indeed includes:

-pressing out the old sleeves
-machining the cylinder block to accept the new sleeves
-pressing in the new sleeves
-boring the new sleeves to fit the pistons perfectly and then honing.

I paid $40 a hole for just a 0.5mm bore and hone job when I installed slightly bigger pistons in my CB550.

Nope, it is just for machining and honing the sleeves. The other shops around me that do this charge under $20 a hole for the same thing, only problem is that they didn't have any tools small enough.
