Big Ole Tars

Insert sense of humor here---->
AKA Big Tires. ;D I'm seein' tons of pics here and elsewhere of bikes with the newish big tire look. Now, I'm not exactly sure whether or not it interests me for my bike just yet, but where are people finding these tires? If you've got any links, I'd be interested in lookin' around for them. I've got that kinda time on my hands right now.

16" rear wheels with balloon tires are so not cafe.

hahahhahaaa So very true! BTW, love the helmet and the specs. I'm rockin' those specs myself. But only as an homage to the Dr. Not the douche in the Harley commercial.

*suck up

Frankly I get really tired of the "What is and what isn't cafe" debate.
Who cares? I mean really....not a single one of us here was in London in the 50's and 60's.

If you dig the fat tire Brat style then go rock that shit man!
If you really *REALLY* need to give it a name, I say Sport Bobber.

Regardless of what you call it, go have fun!

These Firestones are pretty popular, you see them on a lot of bobbers and bratstyles, sometimes cafe style bikes-- a lot of Japanese builders are using them:

Another tire being used a lot but I don't know what brand these are, I need to find out because I want to use them on my next build:

I love the look of those big ole fatty tars.

I dig those tires too, you should try contacting them to find out.
When I lived over there the one thing that stood out was how friendly and polite the Japanese were.
I'm sure if you were nice and asked they'd tell you.

Here are the tires:

Coker does have a couple of Canadian distributors, but their prices are higher than ordering direct from Coker.
