Hi everyone and sorry it took me so long to become a member of this cool little community.
I build cafe racers for work as well as some for myself. I started when I couldn't afford a decent fast bike so I built them out of what I had. XS's, XT's and CB's mainly. That was way back in the mid nineties lol.. ok so it wasn't that long ago compared to some of you old bulls. However I've been fortunate enough to have had a lot of experienced guys show me the ropes and I've even remembered some of it.
Now I build cafe racers for a local shop and much to my partners chagrin usually when I'm not working as well. There's no point in telling you what I have in my garage right now because in a months time it'll change but I am a big fan of the SR's as well as the early twins. I also harbour a bit of a chubby for my most long term machine gen 1 bandit 1200 (hence the name).
Once again thanks for having me and it'll be great to learn as well as hopefully impart some knowledge on the forum. Oh yeah I also have my own facebook page which shows my day to day bike builds/work as well. Look up MOSTYN INDUSTRIES and feel free to rag/applaud what I do.. I've probably said worse anyway!!
