Bike Does Not Charge

Well I completely rebuild the CB550 including the wiring harness. Bike runs great but it does not charge the battery at all.

this is the battery that is in my bike.
I have never opened up the stator or tested the voltage regulator/ rectifier.

Where would be a good place to check for me to get started?

Did you verify that it's not charging with a voltmeter?

Did you allow the battery a full overnight charge on a trickle charger?

12v 9 amp hour should be fine

Also, testing the stator is relatively easy and should be your next step. There's a write up around here somewhere
