how do I tell what I have?

I bought it recently, as some of you know, jacked up my tank and am in the process of getting a new one

how can I tell which model I have?

you have chicken, obviously. KFC.


K is the basic bike. F is usually the sport version or with honda under 750, the four cylinder version. C were the few customs... cb750C used a 10 speed tranny... interesting, but junk. thats my honda knowledge... give a pic of the bike and ill tell you what you have in 5 seconds flat.
 
Well I am betting you have a K, like rocan said, if it were a C...you would already know, and if it were and F, I think that years F model was the supersport. So I feel that yours is a K. Check the neck sticker (if it is still there, it will have beside "model" what it is, also your title should have it) It should read something like CB750K.

The tank looks more like a 'C' than the K or F. Also, i believe the 750c is still a 5 speed whereas the 900 is a 10(strange). Sorry to throw a wrench into things but my money is on Custom. Does it not say on the sticker?
