Hey guys,
I'm having a problem with my 74 CB360, she starts up fine, idles with the choke on, and I can even drive with the choke on, however as soon as I take the choke off it sputters out and dies.. I'm new to this bike maintenance thing, but I'm guessing my carbs might not be working properly?? Any ideas or perspectives on the problem would be greatly appreciated!

Clean the carbs.

And dont post the same topic in multiple places, you wont get more answers youll actually annoy people and get less answers ;)

What kind of bike?

Check this out on you tube..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxpQjDQzX7g

What you need to do is locate your idle screw/s and with a screw driver turn them all the way in counting the revolutions make a note 3/4 to 2 1/2 is normal.

Then remove the screw all together being careful not to loose the little spring that may be in there give it all a good clean and replace it, winding it all the way in first then back it out as many turns as you previously counted.

When you screw it in, don't go beyond a "soft seat" so you don't damage it.

What do you mean by soft seat?, Ive been playing with it and it seems to have almost a springy quality when the tension increases, didnt push it because Im scared of breaking it.

Bingo :)

If you were to keep going you would damage it.
