Bikes and Cars, but mainly skating in South Florida

There was a little contest at a really nice private bowl here in South Florida this past Sunday. A bunch of nice vehicles showed up...a 31 Ford chop, a nice Impala, Cuda, a long stretched out trike, to name the few you can see in the video here. Mainly though, some crazy good skating went down. If you're into watching some skating, check out the video and watch till the end for the best trick of the day (that is that I caught on my cell phone)

Cool cars and bikes, but the skating rules. That is a great pool. Those guys are crushing the coping. I need to step up my game. Or at least get my bike running so I can sit in the parking lot. haha. I live right by Kona and try to make it out over couple of weeks or so.

It's in Pampano, just outside of Ft. Lauderdale. I really wish I could skate there all the time, but it's a private bowl just open for that contest. I'm sure I'll get the chance again though.

Damn i miss skating.. I had some surgery on my knee from an unrelated incident and now I can skate for about 20 mins tops and then end up in agony for 2 weeks. Nice vid

G Rat, I miss living up north as I used to play ice hockey (although I did get kicked out of a league permanently for being an instigator.) Sadly it never really gets cold here in South Florida (we do get in the 30's in winter sometimes) but at least I can skateboard all year long. That red bull skate thing looks like something I would do for fun if given the opportunity.

NoHonestly, have you tried hitting up a park? You might have more time on board cruising a bowl with a knee brace on and just flowing rather than trying to pop tricks. I have just as much fun cruising as I do trying to boost.
