For those who rock this lid. Is the size chart accurate? From my research some had to size down. I'm roughly 22 1/2" which pegs me at a L. Looking to purchase my first helmet so I have nothing to compare to. Also shipping back from Canada to exchange would break the bank.

Im guessing this answer is way too late, I have about the same size head 22.5 and I recently purchased a medium. I found it way too tight at first so I ordered a large but kept trying on the medium while I waited for the second helmet to arrive, within a few days the medium worked in and fits great. Im sending the large back and going to order another gringo for the wife. By the way, its a beautiful helmet. Much more low profile than anything else in that price range.
