Black Bomber tank on CB cafe....which seat?

Hey guys,

Just looking for some advice I guess. I have a tank from a CB450K0 (I could be wrong), it was listed as a Black Bomber tank. It's in great shape, no rust, soft rubber, it has a small crease on one of the chrome panels; but way better than the one that recently sold on ebay for over $350.00.

Anyway, I don't have a 450 and was thinking of using it on 350. I also have a 550 project on the way back burner.....

So I guess I want your opinions, should I use it on a 350 or 550 and then, what style of seat? I think it might be more work getting it to fit on the 350 due to the top of the frame, but would have a greater aesthetic.

welll.. having a few of those K1 tanks and all of those bikes at one point of time, Id have to say it would look too big on a cb350 & too small on a cb550.
Ive seen the K1 tanks on the cb500 and it looks good..

I guess since you have a nice tank, you should go get yourself a cb450.

Well, I thought about looking out for good CB450 or maybe CL cuz I like the scrambler pipes (but I have 2-350's, a 550 and a 750 all needing some sort of attention, plus a 67 Yam YL-1 in flat tracker guise). Or maybe I'll take some advice that I've seen given to you about NOS/Mint parts, I'll sell it to a resto-purist and buy more appropriate parts.

Actually after a few years have gone by, I am thinking of getting a cb450 after all....My tank is a KO not K1....will it fit on any year without requiring modification? Thanks!
