That's pretty spanky. Like the detail on the omars rearsets. And that's some humdinger of a tank. Is it painted alloy? Just has that feel to the edges and shape.

Not to nitpick, but I'd consider having the footpegs powdercoated black. I have Tarozzi pegs too, and it seems they come completely apart and the levers should be able to be coated. Would look nice to match the engine cases etc.

Might ask you for some hints on the kickstarter bends - I'll be in the same boat when I finish my 650 up.

+1 on the kicker mod. Thats the only thing keeping me from rearsets. I refuse to not be able to use the kicker.

Spanky? Ah, thanks. I did the engine turning myself. The tank is fiberglass. As far as the levers, it's very hard to powdercoat cast aluminum due to out gassing. There's a lot of hours in those engine cases.

It's pretty simple actually. I did it before coating the cases and left it mounted on the shaft. I used a propane torch and once red hot, slipped a box end wrench over the end for extra leverage. Let it cool completely, and then make the second bend. Quence it quickly after heating to harden and then off to the platers.

Looks like a LOT of man hours into that bike, great job and very clean build! ;D
Thanks, that's partly because it only has 1,100 ORIGINAL miles on it. I've been showing it more than riding it......but, that's gonna change!
