Ah, I must be overlooking that post. I see the one where I mentioned that I bought incandescent lights by mistake, but would fit LED's at a later time. But I don't see the one where you mention which ones you bought.
The problem you're describing sounds exactly like what LED's do with a analog flasher. But apparently that's not the case.
Which bike are we talking about? You only mention "Harley" and "Cafe"

If you scroll down the page you'll see "Electronic LED Flashers", click on the little side picture for "Motorcycle Flashers". I used the LF1-S-PIN because the bike already had bullet connectors, but the others have flat blade connectors and no connectors at all.

More than likely the same problem - that the new bulbs are lower wattage and not drawing enough current to activate the standard blinker unit. Changing the bulbs to 12v21w or getting a no-load (ie LED) blinker unit should cure this.
