Been Around the Block
The prices are 1100(miller otd) and 850(Hobart otd)
Both of them look bitchen and cant seem to justify the extra 250$ but im lookin for someone to convince me otherwise. Cheers CHeers

It is my understanding that Miller and Hobart are essentially the same. Im pretty sure that the Hobart 210 would be the previous generation to the Miller 211.

That being said, my brother does a bunch of welding/fab work on the side, and he LOVES his Hobart 210.

So they say. The only difference i honestly could find was the auto-set with the miller, and the infinite amperage. Thats it. Besides that, they've both got the MVP option which is a huge selling point for me. I love the functionality of using 115v for the majority of stuff, then busting out the 230v for the longer days, or bigger projects. I've been seeing a trend with ppl siding with Hobart. Heck, with the extra dough, you could slap a spool-gun on her and you'd be frothing at the mouth.

I think some of the internals are plastic also, instead of metal. But like you said, with the savings buy a spool gun! Or a lot of wire and shielding gas lol

Yeah, Whats the startup cost between renting or just buying the bottle for the gas?

Also, one huge question. I understand that Lincoln machines bought at a big box store are made in CHINA and Lincolns bought at a welding supply store are made in USA. Is the same true with Hobart?

These guys have such a killer deal on the 210mvp, it raises eyebrows when comparing the cost in stores. When I called several shops around town, they quoted me approx. $1100 for the 210mvp which kinda befuddles me. Just wanted to be safe then sorry.
