Back in February while visiting Mike Wells Racing in Lexington Ky I happened across a BMW vintage racer sitting in his shop. I asked if it was for sale, he said yes, we went back and forth on the price a few times on the phone, then I bought it and picked it up a couple of weeks ago. This is one of the bikes I will be bringing to the Spring Thaw..... going to stick some dealer tags on it and fly down the road....... sans lights, with race exhaust, although I may put some pods on the carbs........
