also is that a channeled, and chopped stock tank? Or what is it?

thanks pawn, the tank's a cb175 that I cut a wedge out of. zero in the front an somewhere around 2" in the back, here's the stock/mod reference.
I found another 175 tank for 10 bucks so I did the same but puttied over the emblem tabs. looks cool but I've been playing with a cafe so I haven't had time to finish the paint. happy new year!

well looks awesome! I thought of trying a similar thing with my stock 450 tank, but the tank sits at my friends shop and my welder at home...and since finishing my bike I can't seem to drive my car over to pick it up. I might just backpack it home one day soon. The backbone channel throws me off in my head since I can't envision what to do there...you got any pics of that area? I know they are pretty different tanks though, the 175 and 450, but I'd still love to get an idea

Just goes to prove you don't need powdercoat, billet aluminum, endless polishing, or show quality paint to have a AWESOME bike. I love it

I love those pipes. That's my favourite way to clean up the exhaust on a 4 cylinder.
