Body filler on oil tank

Looking to build an oil tank for my cb750. Assuming there will need to be a little body filler added after the fact, how do you think it will hold to the heat of the tank?

I know they dont get THAT hot but if anyone has done this already and tested, I would like to hear your thoughts.

Body filler is fine with the temperatures an oil tank is exposed to.

Just make sure you use a filler appropriate for the finish you intend whether powder or paint.
