Hi from not so sunny France, I have a BMW R80rt which I,m giving the cafe racer treatment, stripped everything that isn't essential, losing 50lb in weight, the bike not me, hope to have it up and running by March.

Bienvenue! I'm guessing you're up north then? I spent some time in Perpignan and I was quite enamored with the weather.

I'm smack in the middle of France (Limousin) but the whole of Europe is in a big freeze at the moment 1c in Barcelona, I'm originally from the North of England so pretty used to the cold, winters are quite short so I should be back on the road in March, lot's of twisty roads with little traffic around here, perfect for any cafe racer.
