The passion displayed in the quote you posted is beautiful, Dennis. The people I meet that share that passion keep me encouraged to press forward and continue learning.
There's no room for me in a world of those that feel they already are on top and that there's no room for anyone else there.
But someone that has passion and drive... and will let go of inhibitions... that's the best kind of person. This is a person that knows:
It's not merely a hobby, but a passion.
It's not just about hurriedly fixing a bike up to get it on the road... Its about pouring yourself into a project and that exhilarating moment of glory when you see the fruits of your labor and witness your baby coming to life.
It's not just about riding... its about living.

Thanks for sharing the inspiration.

Motorcycling is so much more to me than just freedom of the ride. It's freedom from myself. My physical self consciousness, my monetary worries, my day to day fears, my womany mind babbling all disappear with a kick, shift, and throttle twist. It doesn't matter how crazy my hair is or that the phone bill is late again, or that the brakes on my truck are effed. All that matters is........................... the twins are purring and my rubbers are still below me.
