The owner died unexpectedly last month and all his belongings are being sold (most of them)
for a good price. Title was unavailable due to unknown location... I went to GA to get the bike and
i paid for it and brought it home (i paid 450 for it, its a great runner. 83 750 nighthawk)
Got a bill of sale. The plates on the bike are from Tennessee... which is fine i live in TN.
just dont know the process of tagging a bike from a dead guy.

and pointers?

His nephew sold it to me, should i Call him and ask about the Owners name? then what exactly do I say to the dmv?
Whos name is on the bill of sale?
Someone has a Power of Attorney to sell the estate contents.
Call the nephew and find out as much as possible.
Then tell the BMV the truth and see what they say.

in GA all you need is the VIN and a bill of sale. i can prob get a close friend to get it tagged w GA tags, then sign over the title once it arrives... to tag it in TN>
