Maybe not. I think there is some wiggle room in the deal I made with the wife. Really though, there is too many bikes here. Some of them will have to go.
I bought a 2005 DRZ400SM yesterday, and it will be delivered this weekend. Guess what else will be delivered this weekend? Yeah, more rotten weather.
Ah well.

I struck a deal with my wife, I told her I would sell some of the older bikes, and it's not such a bad deal anyway, that stuff is always sucking up the bike money, and I rarely even ride them. I can see her point. She instructed me to find something newer that I really wanted. So I did. And I bought it.

It's got just about all the farkles I was looking for in another bike. steering stabilizer, road tires, off road ability, vapor speedo, gel seat, etc. The only thing I didn't like so much is that it is almost entirely black. I would have chosen all white over black, but that's okay. Lots of people like the all black, but I can live with it.

Looks like fun!

Forgive me, I don't know much about these types of bike. Who's it made by? What kind of electronic wizardry is that by the handlebars? It looks pretty cool, man. Congrats.

Holy shit i have been thinking about the same bike! i love it I got to have one but i see a lot of trouble with the cops and the E R !
I LOVE TO WATCH THEM SLIDE THEM IN THE CORNERS!!!!!!!!

is it just me or does the front end look like darth vader.....

funny thing is i want to buy a ducati hypermotard 1200 when i get out of school here...

I thought darkwing duck, right off the bat..

Badass looking bike, though. I've read good things bout supermotards.

Quack!
:D

I should put that in tiny vinyl letters on the headlight.

I am not a huge fan of the lights either, but what the hey, as long as they work well. If not, I have a Buell XB setup on my other bike that will probably land there.

The thing behind the light, by the bars is a Vapor computer, speed, temps, ODO, etc. It replaces the stock unit, it's more accurate, supposedly.
This is a 2005 Suzuki DRZ400e, with supermoto wheels on it. This way it can convert easily back to dirt for weekends on trail rides. It's basically an updated version of my old DR350. Electric start! I will probably miss the kicker though.

I'm sure this is just one of those things that just *looks* like it would be uncomfortable, but man, the way the seat turns up it looks like it would be kinda murder on your balls...

I love ur DRZ!
A couple of my friends own this bike.
not my kind of bike though.. but i've always thought they're cool..

Pop some wheelies and lets see some videos of how this thing runs.

Thanks for the info. Have fun!

Supermoto's are awesome... Everyone who has a crotch rocket "stunt" bike should switch to one of these...
Hint Hint? lol

Would be my choice for a 'new' daily ride.
