Hello, I got this side mount licence plate holder with brake light, but the brake light only has 2 wires whereas the stock light I believe has three, any tips hot to make it work?
I may not be the one to help you but colors of the lines coming off the licence holder and color on the harness you are trying to connect to I would think would help &pics arer always good. more than likely you will splice two of the wires into on one the holder.
Mine had two wires. The stock had three (the extra being a ground wire). I added a ground wire to one of the bolts and connected it to the third wire in the harness. You may not need to do this, but i did because the light was mounted on the fiberglass seat and therefore had no ground.
