Brake pedal stop ideas

Been Around the Block
I have made myself some rearsets for my CB550, but I need a brake pedal stop.

The PO had cut off the original mounts for the brake so I had to go a different route.

Now I have the rearsets, the brake light mechanism attached and the rear brake rod sorted, I just need a way of putting a brake pedal stop on.

Any ideas would be welcomed.

My problem is that because the rearset does not have anything to limit its upward movement when not being used the pedal raises too high.

Also because of this, whenever I adjust the rear brake tension all it does is raise the lever more instead of adjusting the brake itself.

This is what I did. Not sure how yours are set up, but I'm sure you can adapt this idea to fit just about anything.

Now that is a great idea kMoto, what did you use for the parts and how are they put together.

It's basically just aluminum stock and drill rod. There's another bolt through the mounting plate fastening the assembly to the frame.
