Brand Loyalty...

my air tools are snap-on, my hand tools are craftsman.

pepsi is gross. ginger ale and coke ftw

a few of my favorite things...

Cars: Ford. My first car was 1954 Ford sedan that I restored when I was 13. Worked a full time job and lived on my own to build that thing, and I loved it. Always had a Ford truck, too, and they never (er, rarely) let me down. Been a lot of miles and hauled a lot of stuff with the old Fords. Got a 1999 Superduty for me, and an Expedition for the wife now.

Bikes: Not partial. For now my criteria are: old, not a bagger.

Sleds: Arctic Cat M's. Nothing else climbs and boondocks like that and holds up to constant nitrous for 3 years with no problems.

Sled gear: Klim

Drinks: Alaskan amber, Christian Brothers brandy, Coke

Boots: White's 11" Smokejumpers

Tools: Snap On, Matco. Got some of the others, and don't use them. I work with them all day, so there you go.

Guns: Glock, Ruger, Winchester

Women Woman: One.

Bikes: Honda or DIE.

Boards: Toy Machine (Ed Templeton rules)

Drink: Budweiser

Jeans: Levis 511 (the only jeans I own)

Video Games: Nintendo (I currently have 8 consoles hooked up to my TV right now)

Computer: I'm a PC. (HP)

Bicycle: Volume, Kink

I'll also buy any game Valve makes for PC, soooooooo gooood...

I wear levis only. i organize by model... i have 509's, 514's and 559's. my 514's are my favorites. no matter what i do to them they hold up. the caked in rouge and greese adds character too =D

the 559s always tear for some reason.

hey emcarthu... what kink do you ride?

Videogames: Either Vintage Nintendo or Sony for the new stuff. ps2, ps3, psp. also got a HUGE sony tv.

No real preference, first car was a 1965 Rover P6, (pre British Leyland, now owned by Ford)
First bike I rode/fell off, a Suzuki M15 Sportsman (in 1968 ;D)
Presently I have 5 Honda's, 1 Suzuki, several Yamaha's (4~5~6?), Mazda B2300 (Ford Ranger ::)) and 76, Firebird 400
In Britain I had Opel, Vauxhal, Citron, multiple VW Beetle's (opel and Vauxhal are GM companies so I guess that may mean something?)
Much easier to list thing I think are shite.
Early Kawasaki wiring/electrical systems (up to 1990?)
Honda V-4 (any/all)
Early Suzuki generator/charging circuit,
Yamaha transmissions. (don't buy a first year Yam unless its already got second year updates)
If it works, does what I want and price is right, that's what I get.

Rocan, hearing you on owning a real mini. That'd be sweet, especially a gutted one with race seats and a nicely prepped engine....ahh....the dream lives on.

NGK plugs kick ass, have seen sets go for over 40,000 miles without anything going wrong except somone thinking that they had 'probably better be replaced'.

I like my Suzuki bikes for reliabiliy and slick gearchanging (seriously...awesome gearchange - go ride a honda and a Suzuki back to back) but also like small strokers of pretty much any make.

Cars I like whatever, although I'd kill for my Chrysler Valiant if somone was holding her ransome.

Beer is homebrew or whatever is decent (Killkenny Draught, Guiness, high-hopped APAs etc).

If it works, does what I want and price is right, that's what I get.

Exactly.

Cheers - boingk

hey pj... you seen the new honda v4s? seems to be a pretty nice improvement over the older stuff... plus if you look at motogp the v4s are dominating.

Cars and trucks are judged individually. I do hate fullsize Japanese trucks and economy American cars.
Coca-Cola because Pepsi is satan/communist juice. This one is weird but I feel drinking pepsi is morally wrong.
Beer... I'm loyal but not to a brewery just to specific beers. I only drink craft or home brews.
I'm not loyal to a condom. But I'll only buy Astroglide when I'm sliding home (Thanks to my love of the Houston Astros) Haha I'm serious.
Motorcycles... I hate honda but that is Jeremy McGrath's fault. I don't have a problem with their bikes. Hell I own one now. I have a special love for Yamaha (1st and current bikes) and Suzuki had both 650cc and 1000cc SV's. I also think that Suzuki puts a little more effort into their mid-price range models than the other Jap bikes.
Dog breeds... I will never own a mutt. I might live with another breed but my dog will always be a Boxer with his ears clipped and balls attached.
Auto Exhaust... after putting up with Flowmasters for years I switched to Magnaflow and was blown away by both the sound and quality.

Women: Started out riding them, stuck with them ever since, see no reason to change now. ;) ;D
