Hi folks

So my XV750 project has to take a bow and leave the stage, I haven't really been able to make much progress since marrying and moving, so she who must be obeyed and I "agreed" it was time to let her go. Sad Face..

So she has a GSXR front end from an '03 with a cognito moto stem and All Balls tapered bearings. You will need a new bearing kit, because the races are definitely staying where they are. As the triples offfset and stem diameter are different from '03 to the '06+ that Cognito usually work with, I had the top triple with the correct offset for the lower bored out to the correct stem top diameter. Triple is drilled for risers but I will also include the clipons I got originally.

As you can see from the photos I'd also done a lot to the wiring on the GSXR switchgear so now it will plug and play with the XV harness. Boom. The original Yammy fusebox is also right in place which looks great but doesn't have to stay if you want to go a different direction

Front end also comes with Wheel and brake discs, with the Tokico six-pot calipers. I've bled these and they are excellent. I also put brand new pads in them. Tire on the wheel is fine, not new but certainly rideable. Paint on the wheel is black and TBH a little average. Wheel does have brand new bearings and seals.

Paid $1200 for the lot. asking $600 OBO

Back end - This is a hageman's sub frame with tank lift and all mounting hardware included. This has had a seat loop from dime city professionally welded in, and nicely ground down. This was welded with some smalelr dia tube telescoped inside so is very strong. Attached to this will also be the gorgeous tuffside seat. This is brand new and has never been exposed to the elements at all. Subframe is in Black. Underside is drilled for the suspension adjuster and the Rec/Reg

Paid $600 for the Hageman kit, $300 for the seat plus welding, painting and labor. Asking $400 the lot, OBO. I've welded in a better rear mount for this seat, and re-painted the rear of the subframe black.

Still have several sets of carbs, a spare TCI unit, if anyone else wants anything from the bike, please do let me know and I'll see what I can pull off. Whatever's left when I'm done is going to the scrap yard so...

Thanks for your helpful comment...

The bike is in pieces already. We've moved house and it was moved in boxes. Anyone wanting anything from the bike, It's all ready to ship. Anyone with similar comments to this guy, feel free to keep them to yourself.

I'll be in Colorado at the end of April but I don't think united airways will let me bring that front end as carry-on back to Vancouver
