British & European Classic Motorcycle Day 2011

Been Around the Block
I just got back from the British & European Classic Motorcycle Day at High Point Farm in Clarksburg, MD (www.classicmotorcycleday.org) We didn't stay too long before a passing shower had us running for cover and lunch but there was a great turnout. Moto Guzzi was the featured marque this year. The new venue worked really well, the BBQ smelled amazing, I ran into some old friends and saw some bikes that rarely see the light of day. All in all it was a great time. You should definitely consider making the trek next year. It's well worth it.

There were also a lot of neat cars in the parking lot but the only one I got a picture of was this Porsche 944

You should have stayed. The rain only lasted around 15 minutes.

The guy with the 1924 BSA Roundtank fired it up and was riding it around at the end of the show.

Great pics! Thanks for posting.

Sorry we missed you at the show. We didn't get there until way late :-/ most of the bikes/vendors were already on their way out.
