It is a great bike.
I wasn't sure if I wanted a new bike but I must admit this is the most hassle free bike I have ever had. That and the thing makes me stare every time I see it.
Got the head stem bearings pressed on at work last night and fitted the fork yokes back to the frame.
Nice new taper bearings to replace the old loose balls.
Grabbed a few stainless socket head bolts to replace the old original chromed units.
Might get a bit of time to work on her a bit more on Sunday.
Give the wheels a bit of a clean and install the new bearings is the next step of the plan.
Well I have done a fair bit but forgotten to take photos. I will grab some tomorrow.
She is back on her own feet and moving around the shop. This makes it a lot easier to get at other projects.
The engine is on the bench to have a few seals replaced before I reinstall it.
