I was installing the exhaust on my 78' CB550K today and I accidentally over-tightened the nut and snapped the stud on the exhaust manifold...how screwed am I? :'(
snapped of flush or any showing? if flush get a reverse drill bit 1/8 inch will do it and drill in reverse SLOW the bit might just bite and turn it right out... regardless you need to drill it just be careful and dead center the best you can.
Heat the stud with a small torch. HEAT not melt, or burn... Just get it hot. As it cools, grab it with vice grips and it should turn right out. Worst case, weld a nut on the end and use a wrench.
