For those of you that didn't know, this is what the frame looked like when it was "found." Beatnic here on the board found this beauty for me. Thanks again, man.

Re: BUILD OFF!!!! So we are taking our sweet time, sue us.

let me get you an address to send that springer :)

Re: BUILD OFF!!!! So we are taking our sweet time, sue us.

i know that pic justin ;-) who did end up with the springer?

justin, i show kenny pics of your build, he wants to see it finished. No problem, glad someone here got it!

Re: BUILD OFF!!!! So we are taking our sweet time, sue us.

That Springer is now in Swapmeet Louie's possesion.

Re: BUILD OFF!!!! So we are taking our sweet time, sue us.

So, I spent a little time in the shed last night, but took no photographs. However, my buddy did come over with his camera equipment and filmed me working on the scoot. I wore a clip-on microphone the whole time I was working.

I did more talking and drinking than working, but it was a good time. I talked about why I am compelled to work on these machines. The history of my projects. I told him how a carb works. It was a good night.

It will be an ongoing film project. I believe that he is going to stop by whenever I go out to the shed. He really wants to get some footage of the first start-up and the first shake-down run.

He will have to edit the videos before they can be posted here.

I did accomplish a couple of small things.

I finished mounting my heat shields.
I wired up a Neutral light.
I wired up the brake light.
I hooked up the throttle cables.
I think I did some other things too, but I don't remember.

Re: BUILD OFF!!!! So we are taking our sweet time, sue us.

Looking good fellas! Nice to see all this work done in here after I have been away for a while. Keep it up!

Mike, the tank looks tits man!

Justin, I am digging the whole thing man! I can't wait to see it all finished!

Re: BUILD OFF!!!! So we are taking our sweet time, sue us.

I got it fired up for the first time today. But now I have a short that I can't find. I also still need to adjust the brakes and clutch. I also have to use a block of wood as a kick stand.

Figured I would get it out in the sun for the first time. Here are some pics, enjoy!

Awesome stuff Justin. I wanna see a pic of you sitting on the bitch. Such a long bike, Im curious to see the riding position.

Also, it looks like you are the winner. Louie is AWOL, and the 350 chop is unfortunatly not getting finished any time real soon.

So congrats asshole, youre the king!

Im working on trophy. Once its done Ill send it your way.

Well looky here! Congrats Justin, she looks killer.

speaking of Lou, anybody heard from him? He didn't return my text the other day...
And this place is noticeably more subdued without him.

Haha... It surely is. I talked to him via txt about a week or so ago. Said he was busy. Thats about it though.

Subdued: adj, low-key: restrained in style or quality; quieted and brought under control; lacking crass, vulgar, or obnoxious rhetoric and/or general rowdiness often associated with alcohol, motorcycles, and quick witted sardonic garage builders.

Nah, even without Louie poking a stick in the eye of convention we fall short of subdued.

Proof to the contrary right there ^^^^^

Congrats Justin. To declare a winner, first we need an application in triplicate, a hero ride by vid, a certified check for the entry dues made out to Harold Azcrak, and a long form build certificate signed by the builder, owner, painter, Jimmy Hoffa, Elmo, two members of Van Halen (not Van Hagar), the Pope, John Pope, some dude named 'Chikko Loco', and anyone who can testify to the number of Pabst cans that lost their lives during the creation of this bike.

:) :) ;)
Well done brother, much props.

Beautiful job, Justin. It really turned out great. Congratulations.

I talked to Louie a couple days ago. He hasn't had internet access for a while.

Justin, the bike looks amazing. Such a cool build.

I still can't wait to see the others though.

Hey Justin, looks great, need a ride video! And Mike, you can't get out of finishing yours just cause Justin's done/
