Nope. But I haven't an expectation that they will live in the safety envelope I've set for them forever, either. I teach them to mitigate risk: I won't help them climb a tree, but I'll let them do what they want once they're up. I want them to push their limits on bikes, but I won't let them do it in flip flops.
B's level of risk acceptability is higher than mine, but that's his choice. I ride with guys who wear 3/4, half- or no helmet, and I think it's dumb, but it's their head. I also don't wear full leathers on every ride.

That looks like the start of a nice side car rig. When I engineered the side car on my bicycle I was able to lean to the left and lift it to the right. I actually wore my leathers once and did some knee dragging around the neighborhood with a side car in the air on a bicycle.
But truth be told I don't take a lot of risks, hell it wasn't a month ago I chased down a deputy Sheriff and jumped his ass for driving too fast.

You make your own decisions to ride safely. If you decide to ride beyond the limits of the equipment, you have decided to be unsafe.
the video guy was riding beyond the limits of his equipment. While he did not have an accident, that was only luck, not skill. He was plainly out of control when the bike was bouncing.
You can ride anyway you want. But if you want to ride fast off road, an off road bike is a better choice than Harley ElectraGlide. If you want to jump over things at speed, a hard tail with tractor tires is a poor choice.
I was not criticizing the equipment, only the riders poor choice of riding skills. He picked the wrong equipment for the job. If you are building a bike to do jumps, the design and engineering of that bike was very poor.

kids....we used to build ramps and lay down and watch each other jump bike over our heads till stitches were needed
the other thing we used to do that was cool was tow a skateboarder behind a bicycle and have races with teams on the sidewalks
these were the clay wheels that would lock up and toss you like a ragdoll when you hit lil pebbles it was great fun for generatating scabs

Ha. Because we replaced horses with pecan trees. There's no longer a straight shot down the hill and no need for a manure cart. We do still race the loop around the properties though- with go karts, motorcycles, trucks and cars.
After rewatching that video and reading the post I think you probably owe an apology to almost everyone who rode a motorcycle for the first 70 years they existed. Bikers who rode anything they could get just for the freedom, the racers who put everything on the line to thrill the crowd and the multiple wars won with help of military motorcycles than didn't perform half that good. You just called them all stupid. Bad form.
