Cafe Racer dilema

MCR

"Don't wait for your ship to come in" Sheene
Well it's been four years now, trying out several looks on the same theme....Brit Café heritage formed around my favourite bike CB750 SOHC.
The pic/s below show what I think will be the last incarnation on the theme.
Test rode her last night to a local bike meet (30/40 mile jaunt) and all feels good, the geometry has worked our well with the fairing etc. So apart from tweaking those Cr31's and checking the timing again, I think that's it....roll on the next excuse for a ride out.

BTW: UK builder, I have lots of spares, some are specials, if anyone needs stuff.

Very nice, love the suspension set up....how's the longer swing arm feel?

Surly it's not the best for twisties, but I am working on the same swingarm shortened up to be a quick change from stretch (100mm) to stock wheelbase. One for Friday Night to the watering hole shows and one for rides out in the country. Tennessee is known for some nice back roads.

The fairing was only a test fit, not installed.

Fantastic looking build mate totally captured the old brit café look love the front end ,front wheel n fairing look way expensive but gotta be worth it 8) hats off to you wiz it down to the "ACE" and soak up the nostalgia ;)

Wise words mate.....took a ride to the Ace last summer and had a good time amongst like minded types.
You been out and about on your Café this year yet?

There's been a lot of changes to your ride since you did your build thread, it's like another bike.
You've add some sweet old school parts I'm still looking to add to my own as the years come along.

What do the Tree Huggers say "it's organic baby" or something like that.
Either way, most of the work is home brewed therefore inexpensive, its the likes of that fairing and engine component costs that add the time.
Inspiration can be even harder to come by though.

Unfortunately I can’t fabricate that nifty faring or those sweet front brakes, those will cost me dearly.

Still to get a good ride out yet on the café been messing to finish the hailwood rep just got tune motor and bolt up the fairing then off for a MOT  lets hope the British weather smiles on us soon really want to crunch some miles this year 8) already looking thru ebay for another project ::) fancy a cb750 this time would love a brit bike tho :p

I hope your up and running as soon as......
I just finished a 1947 RE 350G, great laugh to ride.
Also started a Laverda 750SF? Now there's a cross over Brit / foreign bike.

Got so many ideas could be building projects night n day ha  only get chance for one at a time tho, space is my killer most likely gonna have to sell one to free up for next project ,BSA would be a nice Brit project , :p I would hang on to that one when finished
