Your a walking joke lou made fun of your dip shit avitor and you changed it ten mins later grow a backbone. On average how much time do you spend defending your bullshit statemens
So far i know you gone to bike showes changed oil at a dealer ship and put a seat on a 400cc bike look, out jessie james there is a new kid in town
im buildin a kz200, kz400 a rd350 and a t500 and a dt250 ,cb750 right now plus all kinds of welden jobs on randon bikes and working 40 hour weeks
detailing bikes at a dealership and buying a seat does not = bike builder
as far as the op if your building bikes to resell because it hot to have a cafe racer that sucks
Some of you guys are incredible! You mock people and make personal jibes at them, then you get the shits when they defend themselves?! FYI, I currently have a 83 GS750, SR185, XS400, and XS750 all in various stages of work. The reason I don't have a million posts about each of them is simply because I don't have the time. I don't work 40 hours a week at a job like you may, but I'm a full-time student living with a debilitating illness. When I'm not incapacitated or forced to lie in bed due to the illness, I'm trying to improve my professional education, or working on my builds and catching up on my social life. On average I spend 2 weeks in bed every month due to the illness, and the fact that I manage to find the time and energy to work on my bikes amongst all the exhaustion, is pretty darn good as far as I'm concerned. You mistake my lack of posts and threads as a lack of credential.
It's as if you judge me for not making 1000 one sentence posts?... when I do get on here, I try to focus more on a quality posting, as opposed to trying to get my post status up. You seem to treat this like it's a popularity contest.. as if whoever has more posts must know what they're talking about. Well, guess what? The people that really are hardcore about bikes are out there busy making them.. not worrying about getting every little photo of a build on a forum. I don't see Arlen Ness making 30 posts a day to improve his post status... nor would you see Jesse James doing it. He'd just bloody laugh at us ;D
So, if you're going have a go at someone, you should expect them to stand up for themselves, and that resolve should be commended, not further attacked. Try learning to spell, and then, perhaps consider reflecting on why you even ride a motorcycle, seeing as you seem to only respect other cafe enthusiasts that have lots of posts.
As for the "zen" comment I made well OVER a year ago Brad, if you ride a motorcycle and don't understand the "zen", then you probably haven't been riding long enough.. or perhaps you only ride for the "cool guy" status? I don't care what you think.. when I ride.. it is very much a zen thing. It's freedom.. it's expression.. it's raw, unadulterated fun.. IT IS ABOUT BEING LOST IN THE WHOLENESS OF THE JOURNEY... that's everything a cafe racer is all about.
If you're going to mock me for saying stuff like that, then you need to grow up and develop a little sophistication
