This reminds me of the time I went to my local garage, was BSing with the mechanics, and they told me to check out this car. It was a Fiero with a kit Ferrari body -- but the guy had put all the badges, etc., on it and really tried to pass it off as a Ferrari (engine in the rear, so I guess Fieros were popular for that kind of crime). We had a laugh, and they said they guy had two of them, and must be a doctor because he always picked up his car in scrubs. I answered that he must be an RN or NP but passing himself off as a Dr. Then they told me to look in the front seat. On it there was a book entitled "How to live with a huge penis" -- a self help book for the well endowed (or likely in this case, those who want to project to others that they are well endowed). Trifecta of bullshit, on a Fiero platform.

Drum front brake - Check
Loud un-baffled exhaust - check
CB360 Tank - Check
Custom Tailight - check
Rear Inner fender Removed - Check


Rear-sets - NO ...nevermind, without rear-sets this is not a cafe racer.

You guys, he misses one thing and you hate him......

Stop being haters....he built this to his own style and vision and you just can't accept it....

Thats true, I cannot accept that. There is such a thing called aesthetics, there are millions of completely different styled bikes that are aesthetically pleasing and this is way off the mark, whether it was his vision or not.

I was tongue in cheek.... Aesthetics are personal, but sloppy work and poor workmanship are never aesthetically pleasing. If the builder for that bike was going for "I know nothing about mechanical things and have no eye for symmetry or pleasing lines" then I guess his nailed it.

There are plenty of Cafe racers I've seen that I think are less than ideal, but can still see the aesthetic part.

Spreading manure on a metal frame really isn't aesthetically pleasing for the vast majority of human kind, though I suppose somewhere, someone likes shoddy workmanship and poor fitting mechanical items...
