So yes a Honda CBR can technically be a cafe racer. No one really excepts that especially the old farts because a CBR looks nothing like an old Triumph with clubman bars.
You got to remember though. What was the whole reason for the Cafe Racer and how did they come about? Well some British asshole wanted to get to one cafe to the next cafe on his motor bike faster than the other blokes bike. So he started taking off shit on his bike and getting lower to the ground in order to take turns faster. Than some other asshole came by and said wow you have a Cafe Racer there huh? and so the Cafe Racer was born.

Why not get a little more creative - even if it's cheesy - and give us something else to look at. Here's my poor attempt at Photoshop. It's not that hard people. (Well, maybe it is after looking at Kate for awhile). I'm just sayin'.

And you don't lower a bike to go around turns faster. You leave it alone or raise it. Lowering it drops the C of G and that means it has to lean over further and it can't do that because things scrape. Where does that misinformed carp originate and why is it still being circulated.
What's really ironic though is the use of "Excepts" when it should be "accepts". ;D

Interesting to say the least. I think his wife is saving him the embarrassment and saying she really "wants" a golf cart. Or she is sick of being seen on this. The bike itself I'm sure runs great but the scheme is... well.. distracting.
