Wish I lived in the mid west. Here on the coast of California that is a pretty decent deal.

I got my RD for $500 with a CBR frame, gonna sell it to my buddy for the same. Guy was asking $1000 for it when I went to look at it though.

Lucky. I looked for a RD for over a year best I could find was $1250. After I talked him down from $1500. That being said my bike was a runner, mostly original, and a clean title.
They seem to be getting more valuable and people want them more so they are going up. That being said if I had a way of transporting that bike I would try to low ball him and see what I could get. Also things just seem to be more expensive here in California. Not a huge fan.

Everything definitely is more expensive in California. I assume its just a product of the fact that riding season here is year round so there's never a dip in demand, and there are plenty of people who are interested in buying.

Nice project

When all is said and done, whoever buys that will be in about $1500. The seat is a later seat. The title will cost money if you want it on the road. Plus regular maintenance. Maybe $1500 isn't bad. I personally would rather come in a few hundred under. His last line on the ad says price is firm.

Transportation of said vehicles limits my ability to offer a price but if you want a old title less dirt bike or AMF 2 stroke Harley here you go.

Where are all the old dirt bikes coming from? I love that they are coming out of storage and the backs of garages and finding new homes. Not good for the environment perhaps but a whole lot of fun and I like a little bit of wicked in my life - we all need balance.

Roadworthy? Might be worth looking into. Aptos is only 45 min away.
