"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

If my BSA was done, I'd be hitting the buy now button... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Honda-CB-/272505047613?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3f72910a3d:g:KZAAAOSwo4pYaBB2&item=272505047613

Nice looking cafe race Commando. Has all the right bits.

Can't find a buyer though!
Just people telling me it is junk, or that they can buy a restored bike for half......

Good point. Yes it's junk and if you restore it I would pay you half of that. Better?

I suspect the problem is that too many people are looking for 100 point restorations at barn find prices and that isn't going to happen. GP has sold a few that I believe are less of a bargain than yours and I think his looked more "original" and that may be the way to move it.

Yep, pull the upper off and advertise it as a solid running Sporty Norty, most wont want a cafed version... but keep that chunk of glass just in case.

Here's an 80% restored 1971 750 for $7k and a falling price if that's an indication on price point...
