"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Body kit looks like a Dunstall but what was it made for? That bike is a long way before Dunstall developed that body kit. It is possibly a copy or one for an H1 adapted to almost fit that poor little A7.

edit: it's definitely an early one piece Dunstall kit and not the later two piece. Seat and fairing are also Dunstall and are different to mine in some details. I'd sell the glass and find/make an A1R tank and seat and fairing. Airtech have some stuff for those bikes. If I didn't have too many projects, I'd grab that one. There's not a lot of parts for them but they are super cool bikes. Would make an interesting project as an A1R or A7R replica.

I have a pair, use em when too far out to go home and its real cold, no fancy embellishments like your special pair tho... HAHAHAHA!

Ha, I spent a year or so here in Ohio using my bike as my main mode of transport, more out of desire than necessity. Chaps made the brisk fall and spring mornings a bit more bearable. I still got a good bit of flack fit wearing them when I rolled into work though.

I have never understood chaps. They have no ass protection which seems like it would be the one place you would want it.

Horsemen wore them for protection to work cattle and while riding in thick brush, Bikers/motorcycle enthusiasts wear them to keep warm and when the bugs are thick. The lack of material in the ass and crotch is to allow for mobility ::)

I particularly like them on over thin rain gear to keep warm, but this: is also a favorite ;D
