I've had several GS550 over the years, I preferred them over the Honda 550, not sure, but they seemed lighter and quicker and the six speed made them a joy on the freeway. Over 200lbs. they hauled my fat ass around pretty well. Upgraded brake pads and you were set. Not crazy about the L models, but you talented guys would have a blast making this into something boss....

The DOHC Suzuki is a much better motor on the street then the SOHC or even the DOHC Honda.

Issue is that hipsters can not spell Suzuki.

Im trying to come up with a plan here, I need a bike for the thaw trip for 2up. So i was planning on keeping my VFR and selling post trip. I could grab a GS but would need the VFR sold post haste to pay for it and would need to ensure the GS was up and running before the trip. Decisions decisions....

A $75,000, 34HP, Buell Blast...

Damn. Last bike I shipped went from AR to Chicago, for $280. Shipper was a pro. Had one hell of a set up.

$2k that's a good deal. Looks very clean.

Definitely wait that out. First ones that come in are fishing for someone with more dollars than sense. You can wait for someone who already has a close to full load and is going that direction and will take a couple hundred bucks to add one more thing and a few minutes to his trip...

I have also found that the more flexible you are upfront with times the better.

I had something that had to go down south and had a VERY wide range or times that worked.
Ended up finding a guy that was pulling together a massive load, but needed to take things slow.
My shipment just slotting into what would have been empty space for him, got a great deal!

If you put up there that you want something shipped ASAP, and it can only take 3 days to get to you, you will pay big bucks.

That looks like a sweet old GW.

How about 2 bikes for $200 ?!? Not much of a description, but worth that in parts at least.
