Haha... Nearly $200 for a corroded antique and obsolete part. Brilliant.

The reason he had to weld 3" extensions on his clubmans is they are upside down.
Someone should tell him.

I am with you on this, but I swear I see so many bikes with these bars upside down like that, but people have insisted to me that I have my bars upside down, including some of the older guys at the scrap yard. I have no idea how this state of affairs came to be.

You know I was looking on Cleveland cycle works site the other day and saw this:
(advertising their 110 dollar clubmans (who buys 110 dollar clubmans?))

"Made in the USA, tig welded by hand, these bars are a thick .120 wall, no thin wall garbage here. We leave the throttle area clear of powdercoat for smooth throttle actuation. Mount these bars standard way for the clubman look of dropped bars (clip on style) for a true cafe' look. Flip the bars and you have a classic viking style mid-rise bar. Either way, better then stock, because stock sucks."

I thought WTF?

That freakin' explains it! All these guys were going for a classic viking style mid rise bar. Hail Odin!

I didnt realize Vikings installed clubmans on their ships.
I hope the guy I sent the email too is not a viking.

You'd be pretty well fucked then.
Don't anger Vikings. Bikers rule number 7.

Pretty sure that wing rear ended a hippo. Can barely tell but the fender is a bit close to the radiator and the forks look tweaked. Good excuse to chop the pic off haha. I'd still bite on it for that price tho
