Put some $200 shocks on it instead of stupid steel rods and its useful again. Good price. These bikes ask for $3000 in worse condition in Alberta.

Yes but Alberta, especially kijiji might just be the most overpriced place to buy a bike in North America haha.

Preaching to the choir, padre. Are there any other good places to look for less expensive bikes? I've also found that a lot of those high price bikes seem to be for sale for a long time and keep getting reposted. Like the MV or the $4300 42 Ural basket case.

Yep. I have definitely seen some deals but it takes constant checking. Easier if you live in close proximity to the main centres as I do not. Most deals are gone by the time I can get a chance to get them.

Well, I guess if you're going to spend 6K on a 20 year old bike you could do worse...

I like the 350 with the sidecar.

If any of these kind of deals comes up and is a reasonable price we should do a DTT kickstarter and split the whole lot (bikes or parts) between the contributors.
