Well I mean everything here causes cancer. No joke, there are stickers on the bottom of the tables at my work saying they may cause cancer... TABLES.

And luckily I have a bare frame that I can title, but it's missing a motor and the bits that go with it. I figured buying that whole bike would be easiest so I could get all the parts I needed

Oh! well speak up man!! its a junk yard and there in no shape to let you walk with a pocket containing cash... go in with confidence looking for hmmmm a throttle cable or something off it and offer them 60 bucks for it, have it in the wallet thats it pull it out when you make the offer... have like some crumed up ones and a five in your pocket "when they say naaaah we need 200 pull the 9 bucks out and say this is it man I could use a lot of parts of it and I'll take it now... be prepared to walk... I bet 70 buys it! they have 25 in it tops. whatever you want it for that method has served me well many times 8)

I was thinking about doing that. Only problem is its 2 hours away so I'm not sure how much I wanna risk a 4 hour trip to walk away with nothing

This is more for consideration:
$2k for a low miles but pretty decrepit 1976 CB400F. Sweet 5' wide crash bar and luggage rack. Tank looks whole, seat looks good from the top, but... rusted throughout, headers look OK but muffler rusted through. Says it has a clean title. Seems to me I've seen cheaper runners, but people are after these things.

That bike is ghastly. What a complete waste and no doubt will likely kill someone someday. Love that the only rear suspension is "tire flex". Epic.

While I would not build or ride a bike that still had the swing arm and just struts instead of shocks, I see nothing wrong with a legit fix rear frame, so long as the seat has some form of movement. If I were still young and had not had so many orthopedic surgeries, I would still have a rigid frame bike in the stable.

wow this guy sounds like a real piece of shit. get real dude, an 8 year old could probably kickstart that. It seems like he has been watching too much Sons of anarchy and thinks he's an outlaw or something.
Nothing against hondas, I like them fine, but anytime someone goes for the "outlaw biker thing" on an old honda I just think of this....
