I'm kinda bummed he never got back to me. However, it's probably not a bad thing that I didn't get it.

True unless you got a place to run that it is just a cool decoration. Knowing where I grew up there are probably others.

I'm on 2.5 acres of dirt for the next 7 months, so my roommates and I would be running it for sure. After that though, not sure if it would get run too much.

Heck then I would have got it and then sold it after. Would be way fun.

I might try giving him another call and see what happens. I could definitely see many shenanigans with it. Might even try to get paddles and go out to the pismo dunes

That would be awesome. If you get it and take it to the dunes be sure to post pics.

Not a bad deal for what might be a pretty nice RD.

"it was gonna paint it army green like a bobber" is one of those statements that has the structure of a sentence but is so inscrutable that it will keep rolling around in your brain until your head explodes. What was the "it" that was doing the painting? Does he think that all bobbers are green? Why army green? Does he thing the army uses bobbers, or does he think they just paint bobbers?

I'd say it's 50/50 as to whether this is a legit ad, or a coded communication between sleeper cells.

I only Capitalized and added punctuation....It almost makes sense now.

I am sure this guy is a victim of modern school philosophy. I have a neighbor who just turned 20. His school would not correct spelling mistakes, the idea was to have them express themselves without criticism. The poor kid will never be able to spell and express himself clearly to others. Might be why work is so elusive to him.

What the hell kind of school is that? 12 years teaching experience and I've never experienced that. You are witnessing a by-product of text communication and smart phone generated ad listings. Punctuation requires two keystrokes (arrow up + punctuation), so text conversation is much more efficient to eliminate it. It's become the norm and has nothing to do with a person's education.

I refuse to reply to people who use text talk.

I haven't talked to a cousin for nearly five years because she refused to type "y" and "o" when she texted me.
